ARTIST: JOEY KOH (WORDS BY JOEY KOH & LAUREL MOFFATT)
PROJECT: THE LONGING OF ANGELS
Come close, I want to tell you something. It's something so wondrous, so precious, I feel I need to whisper it.
I want to tell you about grace. Not the grace of form and movement as ballerinas dance, or of simple words of thanks mumbled before a meal, though perhaps these are faint shadows of the true. But no, I want to tell you about the grace of a God who made us in his image, who loved us from the beginning, and who brought us back when we ran away. It's a story of redemption — yours, and mine.
It is said that even angels long to look into such things. (For what do angels know of forgiveness and mercy, of second chances and reconciliation?)
So come close. Look. Listen. Feel the heartbeat of God.
Joey Koh is a son dearly loved by God. There is not that much else to say about Joey, and certainly nothing so flattering. In his endeavours in photography, he is both inspired by and thankful to the God who said, "Let there be light."
